Image hereIt was me! Last night I had the distinct honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Pawtucket Red Sox game.
While I may not have been throwing 90-plus mph as PawSox pitcher Kristofer Johnson would later in the actual game, I did get it across home plate (the photo at right shows me with shortstop Gil Velazquez, taken just before the first pitch).

It was my staff night at McCoy Stadium, and we had a great time. We got to see Jed Lowrie—who’s been here while rehabilitating from an injury—play what may be his last game for the PawSox before heading back to the majors this weekend. And it gave me a chance to sport my full line of Sox gear.

We’re so lucky to have the PawSox in Rhode Island—it’s a fun, affordable and accessible sporting event for all. Buy Local RI and go PawSox!
